Established in 1991, ESGI was established in 1991 with the aim of producing quality gear cutting tools such as precision cutters, parallel spline hobs, chain sprocket hobs, cutting machine blades and many more. An ISO 9001:200 certified company is one of the larger producer & exporter of gear cutting tools. We are one of the few to manufacture tools for involute gears, spiral bevel gears and straight bevel gears. Our business operations are backed by high end manufacturing facilities that help to deliver in the end product to adhere to the highest quality standards and give optimum efficiency. We take pride in responding to the queries/quotations in two to three working days & meet delivery commitments for all our orders.

Raw Material
We import all of our raw material from the best producers of high speed steel. We have the in stock the conventional high speed steel M2 & M35 to latest powder metallurgical steel ASP2030 & ASP2052.

Coatings
| To increase the life of the tools various types of PVD coatings are available. We offer tools with TiN, AlTiN, TiCN or any kind of special coatings on customers requirement. |
Heat Treatment
| We have our own heat treatment facility to impart the optimum hardness to the tools for producing maximum life. Our facilities is equipped with hardness testers, microstructure checking equipment and and various calibration gadgets. |
Designing Expertise
| We take pride in designing hob for any kind of involute or asymmetrical profile with own developed software. All the tools are designed and checked for the component accuracy by generating the component from the tool and comparing the results with theoretical results to remove any mistake/error at the machining level. This means that actual generated profile of the component is known at the designing level. All the minute details like under cut diameter, chamfer details & TIF diameter details are visualized before taking the tools for manufacturing. We have successfully undertaken numerous projects whereby designing hobs, precision cutters, gear shaping cutters, parallel spline hobs, chain sprocket hobs, cutting machine blades and gear shaving cutters. |
Manufacturing Facilities
| The foundation of our success to a great extent rests on our upgraded infrastructure facility. Our modern manufacturing plant is spread in a vast area of 35000 sq feet, with adequate installed capacity. It is fitted with some of the most advanced machines to manufacture our range of gear cutting tools. These machines also help us to meet the bulk requirements of our esteemed clients within the stipulated time frame. |
Resharpening of Gear Shaving Cutters
| ESGI offers re-sharpening of shaving cutters of any make from 1.5 module to 10 module with standard or modified involute with tip relief, profile crowning and lead crowning |

With the installation of Klingelberg Gear Analyser P26, the best available inspection machine in the world for hobs & shaving cutters, we have taken the giant step in making our presence in the highly quality conscious customer segment.
